Breast Cancer Awareness Month: What Every Family Should Know
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and at the Buzuayehu Tadele and His Family Foundation, we want the families in the communities we serve to have clear, simple information about breast health. Breast cancer can affect women at any age, and it is easier to treat when it is found early. Many people stay silent because the subject feels awkward or frightening, or because they aren't sure what to look for. The guide below covers the warning signs, when to see a health worker, what can raise risk, and common myths, in plain language.
Please share it with the women in your life, and talk about it with your family. If you notice any change in your breasts, don't wait. Visit a health facility and have it checked.
